Brief introduction to myself

Hi,
I am an international student named Taozhang from China. I am excited to be a freshman majoring in Chemical engineering in UD. Here I want to talk about what I think as a foreign student living in a different culture and, especially, choose CHEM in UD. As everyone knows that, CHEM is such a tough department in the university that only by studying hard can we be able to graduate. However, hard working is not only for CHEM but also required to succeed in every other study field. I am frequently asked about the reason why I fly thousands of miles from China, which I have lived in for nearly 20 years, to America. Obviously, studying in college in a different country using a second language will be killing me since it is tough enough to learn in my first language. What I want to say is that I will not be regret and I am ready for challenges. CHEM is where my passion is and I will follow it with no doubt. Living with a different culture is both challenging and interesting for me. Culture shocks are everywhere, including classrooms, apartments, relationships with others. I got in troubles several times because of a different understanding with others, but that will not let me down, instead, I will be glad to live with it and adapt it.
